After nearly two decades navigating the corporate world, I made the deliberate, slightly terrifying, and absolutely necessary decision to leave. Not to retire. To create.

ECDLS · El Club de la Siesta was born from that leap, a universe where kawaii aesthetics meet darkly humorous design, where a nap isn't laziness but a radical act of reclaiming your time and imagination.

The Universe

ECDLS is a one-person art brand rooted in Uruguay and reaching wherever good taste travels. The name is a wink: El Club de la Siesta, The Nap Club, because the best ideas arrive when you stop forcing them.

The brand lives at the intersection of:

• Kawaii & illustration: soft shapes, bold color, expressive characters with a dark edge and a fun way to learn.
• Music: original soundscapes that pair with the Soundscape notebook collection.
• Design: minimalist, bilingual, built for people who notice the details.
• Neurodivergent perspective: a brain that sees patterns, textures, and connections differently, and makes things because of it, not despite it.
